Uxi Duxi - Kava Bar Experience

This place is such a wonderful chill spot away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Located convienienly on the street car line, near city park and many local cemetery. The manager, Nate, is a very intragal hands on person and always happy to help explain and make teas and product for your pleasure weather to hype you up or mellow you out. The other staff especially Dominique is also very helpful!! Check out the vape shop and sex shoppe attached to the store.

Clean. Large menu with kava cocktails and a friendly attitude. Vape machines, books, candles, herbs, mushrooms and more! Also, the reader was on site as well.

I freakin love this place and go there nearly every single day. It doesn't matter what you want--kratom, kava, CBD--it's all incredible. The only thing I'd suggest is that they should be more creative and be like a bar and try out different drinks based on what customers want rather than making the same menu drinks every single time. Only one of their employees--Erin (the best)--does that and it's why you should definitely go when she's working!

Even during this pandemic this place is keeping me sane. I was able to order over the phone and pick up within 10 minutes!!! During the school year I like to pop in a grab a kava chai to keep my anxiety down whilst studying. Nathan the owner brought me out my order and was super sweet. I saw on Instagram they redid the floors and now Nathan told me they’re getting new chairs!! Can’t wait to be able to go hang out again and enjoy the atmosphere.

The staff is always rude when I go in. The blonde blows my questions off rudely, is cold, and then doesn't answer my questions. I just get scoffed at for not knowing all the items on the menu. It's also expensive and everything I've ever bought has been bad. I kept trying but I give up. Make sure to have your i.d. because if you're in your late twenties and look at her the wrong way you're not welcome to buy a cup of coffee. You have to be at least 18 to be in there. She also mocked me. Terrible experience with the staff. I also have been told by friends there stomach's have hurt after having their teas. This was not my experience because they were so gross I could never finish one.
