Shakedown Kava Lounge - Kava Bar Experience

I absolutely love this place. Best kava I've had so far and awesome people. They even have a punching bag in the rec-room! How cool is that!?

Shakedown Kava Lounge is really great, I'm super glad that there is a kava bar in Hendo which is right near my work and closer to my house than AVL spots. The kava and other ethnobotanical delights never disappoint. And they're actually a bit more affordable than many other kava bars. The service is splendid, because everybody is just cool as heck. They've got ping pong (esp. on Sundays), and now air hockey too. But also a good spot to do some reading or work with a relaxing beverage. Kava bar crowd is always appreciated by me.. very unique, very chill, very nice. Much love. Peace. The drinks really are consistently gooood.

I like to come here to chill out and the staff is always very friendly and good to be around. Glad that this kava bar is here to enjoy and the blue lotus tea is delicious.

Shakedown Kava Lounge is an awesome alternative to the traditional alcohol bars and breweries around town. The staff and regulars are welcoming and friendly and the drinks are strong! I've been a regular at all the Kava bars around Asheville for the past year and I've never gotten a faster or stronger Kava buzz than the ones I've experienced at Shakedown! The flavor of Kava does take some getting use to but they offer some tasty alternatives to the traditional brew! They also have Kratom, Yerba Mate, Cannabis Infused Seltzers and more. Look out for regular events like Thursday Night Open Mic and Tuesday Ping Pong Tournaments. The owners and staff are helpful, very kind, and super fun! I highly recommend checking out Shakedown Lounge if you are in Hendersonville and want to experience something a little less "normal"!
