So mellow, and great for working! They have great WiFi and nice gluten free treats along with regular bakery. I had a latte rather than kava, but it was a tasty, pretty latte! They have a lot of board games too, and the coolest cribbage board I've ever laid eyes on! Also some kinda elevated shuffle-board thing that looks fun.

Great space. Lots of games for hanging out with friends and chill seating areas for getting some work or studying done. Lots of kava options, including kava NA cocktails, to-go pouches and flavored teas for enjoying while lounge. Also has full coffee/espresso service. BEST thing about Rooted is that it's open late for a coffee shop (9pm+), which is rare for a non-alcohol spot. Great place to kickit and chill rather than getting turned up at a bar or similar.

Rooted in sanity kava lounge is a fun shop with both coffee and kava. I had never had kava before and this was a good introduction to it. Although slightly bitter in taste the kava blends and mocktails are quite tasty. I can’t say with certainty that I got any buzz from it, but I can say that that time I spent there with my friend andy was relaxed and enjoyable. The atmosphere was welcoming and the staff (Jaimie) was terrific!

A very cozy kava cafe in the heart of east side. Perfect for pretty much anyone, they have all espresso/coffee classics along with a variety of kava drinks from the traditional way it’s served to more trendy drinks like NA drinks/mocktails and smoothies. We tried the berry cozy kava drink and the golden milk and genuinely thought everything was delicious! Definitely give this place a shot whether you’re visiting or a local looking for a new experience!

Love the chill vibe here! It was my first time trying kava and I highly recommend it. I had the more “calming one”, which was very relaxing. I tried a sample of it plain and then had it in the kava colada form. Loved it!!! Can’t wait to go back and try some of their other drink options as well.
