I am from Florida aka the mecca of Kava/Kratom. My work brings me to ABQ every few months, so of course I have to swing by the only place around. That said, their product is extremely high quality. I gotta say their tea is one of my favs anywhere. Brewed the right way, for quality not volume. All the tenders are friendly and take the time to educate on the elixirs. Mandy, the owner, took the best of FL and made it her own. Do yourself a favor and stop by for a drink. Highly likely you will be back....can't beat liquid vibes!!!!!

Kava is a drink I enjoy to give me a boost and help ease the stress of the day with no hangover! Pureland Kava has delicious fresh kava and the canned drinks are a fun new twist! The atmosphere is awesome and the owner is lovely, knowledgable, and attentive. If you are new to kava, this is the place to try it. In fact, it is Albuquerque's first non-alcoholic Kava Bar. If kava is already your thing - you have found a new place to hang out among kindred spirits!

Cozy, calm and friendly. My first time in New Mexico and I find a Kava Bar! I drank their fresh Kava and decided to get some cans to go. I met really delightful people and enjoyed my night Thank you.

Have been told about Kava and did some research; yesterday I decided to stop by and give it a shot. Staff were friendly and very informative, as well as welcoming. Kevin did a great job introducing me to the world of Kava. I think I found a great tool to help me cut back on drinking, thanks!

It’s been awhile since my experience here and I struggled to write this review because I have mixed feelings. First, I think the concept is great and it’s refreshing to see a new type of business other than the same over saturated industries that are on almost every corner in town (no hate, I love plenty of those local places JS). The owner and her employee were very friendly and introduced us to our first taste of kava and kratom. They were very knowledgeable and explained everything to us as we did a “cheers”. I ordered a kava tea while my partner ordered a canned beverage (I can’t remember what it was:see pic). Here is where the issue was for our experience. Not sure if it is always like this but they were blasting music when we were there. We came to relax…music is fine but this was really jarring. Additionally, the employee (after the owner left to an event) went to talk to the table next to us, and they were being incredibly rowdy. At the time we were observing a period of sobriety and one of the topics we overheard was about being drunk downtown. Yeah, not their fault-they didn’t know, but still the over the top conversation made us get up and leave. I finished my kava at home in a more welcoming environment and it was great. I’d still be down to come back and try again possibly. I did get a student discount while I was there with my ID and that was nice. There also appears to be plenty of board games and such to do while you are there.
