Moon Mountain (Opens Aug 31) - Kava Bar Experience

This is my first time in this city and I was encouraged by the amount of coffee shops. I visited two before discovering this treasure. I’m glad I followed my instinct. Normally I post a photo of my fresh coffee; I got lost in my cappuccino being so well crafted. Exceptional menu: teas, bowls, stuffed flatbreads, and smoothies are crave worthy. Moon Mountain is a sanctuary of intellect and warmth thanks to its extraordinary staff.

Welcome to the Moon! Have you tried Nutella and strawberries? It's a great combination for a smoothie! I stumbled upon Moon mountain in downtown St Pete and I am so glad I did. Unusual, well crafted menu, with some unique items that are difficult to find - kava drinks, kratom drinks, Matcha!!! The service is great, the guy who served me was super friendly and welcoming. They have an outdoor area. Loved my visit and can't wait to go back again! Very hip!

The drinks we got were blueberry lavender lemonade and then my friend got a tasty smoothie. We went during labor day weekend so they were busy and as a result our drinks took a little longer than expected to come out, but they went above and beyond and gave us an extra serving of my friend’s smoothie to make up for the wait. I love the decoration and the atmosphere and the way it stands out from the rest of the other cafes in this city. Way to go! Will definitely be back when I visit St. Pete again.

I ate my breakfast sandwich way too fast, but the food was great. The cinnamon roll was phenomenal. We had two iced latte with caramel and oat milk and the service was superb. We really enjoyed ourselves and it beat Starbucks across the street by a long mile. They also offered a pup cup to our sweet pup and he loved it!

Try kava the traditional way and back it up with a shot of kava on the side for a pleasant experience in a nice cafe atmosphere. Kind kavatenders guide you through ordering with great service.
