Modernesian Kava Social (Relocating) - Kava Bar Experience

I love this place! I had an amazing experience trying Kava here. Everybody is kind, the energy is so positive, you can relax and enjoy. They answer all my questions and the drink I try was delicious. I'm definitely coming back soon and I highly recommend this place.

Amazing atmosphere!!! Best Kava and Kava Circle! There is a jazz band on Thursdays and different innovative Kava mixed drinks. The owner and staff are great people and we love coming here!!

I've been here numerous times, and will keep going. This is exactly the sort of non-alcoholic local night hangout that South Seminole Heights has been needing. The owner, who you'll probably meet on your visit, is a real entrepreneur and authentically part of kava culture. He's read up about kava and has first-hand experience with it too. A visit to this place is chill, educational, inspires creativity with its unique decor and set-up, and supports a business that greatly enhances the community it is located in. This place is for both those knowledgeable about kava and those seeking to try something new.

I was very impressed with this place. It is unlike the kava bars in St. Pete and West Palm Beach areas (that I have tried). This one feels very authentic. Calling it a kava bar doesn't seem right. Kava hangout or social seems more accurate. The atmosphere is very similar in feel to being with your friends hanging out in a living room. I enjoyed the company that was present, owner included, and would be happy to be around them again. The owner has been raised around kava, and it really shows he knows how kava should be consumed. He described his kava hangout as "a place to come drink a bunch of kava", and that it is. The quality of the kava is fantastic. It's been quite a while since I got the full effect from kava and one time at this place got me there. One shell and I knew it was good. You can even try chewing the root here.

Super chill place with amazing kava. The owner was my kava tender during my first visit. Hands down the most knowledgeable kava tender in Tampa bay. I frequent many kava bars all over. Trust me this guy knows his kava. Will definitely go back!
