Misfit Kava Bar - Kava Bar Experience

My friend invited me here the other week to hang out and study and I immediately fell in love with the atmosphere and vibes. Cozy, queer friendly, and easy to hang out or get work done. The patio is super cute! They make great drinks as well and the staff is friendly.

Super cool place. The vibes were like nothing else and the drinks were pretty cheap. They even handed out free ring pops to everyone! Would highly recommend if you are into Kratom or Kava.

My ex brought me here because he practically lives here and wanted to introduce me to his home away from home and have me try Kratom for the first time. I was def nervous as I have a history of anxiety and don't touch any substances other than alcohol. I was, at first, skeptical. I think I had a secret garden with green? Does that sound right to anyone ? 😅 Anyway, I had no bad reaction whatsoever. I had a lovely time. The atmosphere here is so inviting. It's like being in someone's living room, but their very cool kinda psychedelic living room. People are playing D&D, knitting, doing work on their laptops, socializing, napping, eating food ( you can order in food from wherever here) escaping from their lives. Like this is the place. Very good vibes. Obviously very queer friendly. All of those I met here seemed like legit genuine individuals from all walks of life. There were like 2 dogs. I loved it. So glad I came.

Love this place and the kratom is amazing but the service is atrocious. The girl with the brown bob has an awful attitude . Every time she is bartending she is so unpleasant. Unfortunately, today she was quite rude from the start, which really soured the atmosphere. We were made to feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. After receiving such poor service, we decided not to tip, and instead of understanding, she belittled us. Also her dog being behind the counter is pretty nasty as that’s where all the drinks are being made. Her service alone makes me not want to go back which is a shame because this place is amazing and the other staff is wonderful.

I had a green Kratom tea and it was quite strong. And I’ve been drinking it down in Florida at one of the 8 million kava bars there (lol) so I have a little tolerance. Shane was very nice. Relaxed atmosphere. 🙂
