Manna Tea & Kava Bar - Kava Bar Experience

Amazing experience great drinks and live entertainment with super friendly service. Come try it out on Friday and have a live DJ and fire dancing story for your friends!! I've been coming here every Friday for a while now. Manna Tea & Kava Bar is a super friendly and welcoming sober bar. I like to go on Fridays because there is this awesome fire flow event they always host. The drinks are always handmade fresh right in front of you there are small cool snacks and sweets. They have the best live music and entertainment that you'd have to pay for anywhere else. It's a nice clean friendly welcoming environment. If you've been trapped and really wanted to let your artist out this is the place to go!! This is a must go establishment, go meet some awesome people!

This place is amazing. The atmosphere. The staff. The owner. All incredible. The unique recipes and blends the have available are all delicious. The various sitting areas that encourage creativity are truly a breath of fresh air when ya just don't wanna be at home and be creative. Love this spot.

I will begin by saying I have been in the kava community off and on for 9 years. I no longer drink kava or kratom due to concerns about medication interactions, but I still love a good kava bar. This place did not have many options for teas that were not mind-altering. The employee I interacted with didn't know which herbs were in their herbal teas. They had a big sign stating that they are a sober community and no illicit drugs are permitted on the premises but there was a guy sitting outside smoking weed. Weed doesn't bother me, but they shouldn't have a sign claiming sobriety. The vibe was also off. There was a large group of people that were very loud and rude. I got the impression they were regulars since one of them was behind the bar part of the time and I assume was an employee. At one point one of the (what I perceived to be) regulars was being rude and interjecting in a conversation I was having in what I perceived to be an insulting way. The two employees I personally interacted with were very nice and polite, although uneducated about their menu. Due to how unprofessional and obnoxious the general vibe there was, I anticipate I may get some form of insulting response, like some businesses do. That's okay, it's to be expected. I will not be returning, and I will be warning my friends in the kava community away from Manna Tea & Kava.

Had a great time. Mars is a fantastic kavatender, incredibly knowledgeable and a wonderful person to have a great kava experience with. It's a massive space with games, pool table, and ping pong table. Wonderful food (I recommend the Mongolian Ribs). If you are a tea veteran I'd recommend some of the Mana Soda's whatever the monthly special is, if you're a noobie try one of the specials (I love the apple Pie personally).

Very cool and hip place!! A truly hidden gem of Sarasota! Staff is super friendly and welcoming and they have special deals/events going on almost everyday of the week. We went to open mic night on Wednesday and there was a good turnout
