I stopped by and had my first Kava drink yesterday. The drink was awesome, uplifting, and refreshing. The music was appropriate, and the decor is thoughtful. I didn't intend on spending 2 hours there, but when the owner, Miriam told me about the history of Kava, how she actually remodeled the space herself, and her plans for the business, it was clear that she has a vision for her business. I appreciate the conversation, and will be a regular.

Delicious Kava Moctails, a relaxed atmosphere and friendly service are why you should enjoy Lava Kava. We had the Mainely Blue and the Horchata Dream mocktails and both were amazing! We will definitely be back.

I placed an online order and the owner upgraded the size of my drink free of charge because the size I wanted wasnt available through the online app. She was very friendly and the shop has a cozy, welcoming vibe. The kava itself was also great! Smooth taste and nice effects. I'll definitely be back to enjoy some in person soon.
