To shell or not to shell. That is the question..... Teas or shells- you have to try this place out! Knowledgeable and friendly behind the bar. I love the Lavender Drop- its always made to my liking. The atmosphere is comfy, easy to have a conversation or just enjoy your euphoric experience on your own.

I wouldn’t even give them 1 star. A- the workers that work there are be try disrespectful and nasty type of people. B- they hate people because of their religion. C- the store is very dirty rats all over the place. D- they are supposed to be shot down from the health department and there still open. I will call tomorrow and shot them down. I got videos of rats and I got videos of what the works do to there customers. If you like kava go to the place 2 blocks away it’s much nicer and taste way better and a lot cheaper. STAY AWAY FROM CHRIS AND THE OTHER RETARDS THAT WORK THERE.

Because of a weird history my friend had with someone who was associated with this place, we were accused of being drunk. After we cleared things up and proved we weren’t, we don’t feel comfortable going back to either this or the 10th Ave location. It’s very disappointing because I used to love this place

its rare that you walk into an establishment in NYC and they broadcast their racism as soon as you walk in. I came in with some friends, who were white, and waited 30+ minutes after they got their drinks before I finally got mine though we ordered together. When asking about it, I was accused of being drunk. When everybody had to defend me, the bartender just laughed. I ended up not drinking anything because I couldn’t trust that they didn’t poison my drink after being so openly rude and racist.
