I used to love this place. My friend and I were accused of being drunk because of a miscommunication from their 1st Ave location. After clearing things up, we don’t feel comfortable going back to either location because of the “small community” that the workers implied lead to this happening

Currently CLOSED shutdown by the Powers to be. FIGHT FOR RIGHT TO HAVE SOBER BARS!!. KRATOM IS MEDICINAL PLANT WITH NO HARM ....like anything else in this world, everything in moderation.....Cool Kava Bar!! This is Unique alternative to drinking at a regular bar because it's non-alcoholic but yet very potent Kava Drinks. It gives you relaxing buzz but keeping sharp mind. The Bartender was very friendly and informative. They also serve Kratom drinks. I would recommend the Kava Shots. It's still strong but cheaper at $6 then the Kava drinks. The only con is the place is really small.

Extremely nice people, the bartenders is awesome. He was able to point best drink for first timers without pushing onto the expensive drinks . The place seems almost like a community type vibe, where everyone drinks from bowl shape cup and saying “mahalo” . Really great vibe, wish I was in city to check out their events that they mentioned. Seems like a fun place to hang out and meet new people

Cool place. Bit overpriced. Servers are happy to chat & introduce you to the kava lore.

This place has been shut down in the past for heath code violations, and their patrons block the majority of the sidewalk. It is a nuisance of a business for the neighborhood.
