Kava Mama - Kava Bar Experience

Wonderful kava and kratom bar!! We were on a trip to Chicago from Florida and in a pinch, and we were able to get some Kratom and some of the best kava me and my wife have ever had!! Chill atmosphere and awesome people made for a great night here. Top shelf Kratom as well and pretty sure she sells it wholesale bulk kava and Kratom!!

Simply put, Kava Mama is one of my all-time favorite kava bars! And I’ve probably visited upwards of 50 or so over the past few years. I live in South Florida, but I pop into Kava Mama every time my job brings me to Atlanta. The owner Angie is an absolute gem of a human and has truly built something special. The atmosphere is inclusive and welcoming, and the space itself is so cozy and charming with lots of comfortable seating and tables to post up and work or study. My favorite aspect is the giant mural depicting an authentic kava ceremony. The drinks themselves are all amazing. You can tell Angie only uses super high quality ingredients. From their kratom teas and kava to their bottled drinks, everything is smooth, strong, and really tasty. Her husband Shaun and all the kavatenders I’ve met are extremely knowledgeable and passionate about what they do. If you’ve never been, definitely go and check it out! They’ll happily answer any questions you have and will make the perfect recommendation based on whatever effect you’re looking for. I love that you can stop by and hang out for a while or just grab a drink to go. I can’t wait to visit their second location and I hope that the kava culture continues to grow in Atlanta!

The owner was extremely friendly and knowledgeable! The service and attention to detail was outstanding. We tried a variety of products all of which were high quality!!!!! Relaxing atmosphere! Will definitely visit again in the future!

I was visiting from FL and needed a place to refill my kratom. I got to meet the owner Angie she's so great and takes great care of her customers. The quality of the product is top notch. If you are in Atlanta and looking for a chill spot to destress this is it!
