Kava Cove Lounge - Kava Bar Experience

I’ve been to kava cove only a handful of times. However, this place has an incredible amount of charm! The employees are engaged and kind, especially Sarah (or maybe it was Sally). I just went today with my SO and we were both met with amazing customer service. Definitely one of the best around!

As someone who frequents kava bars frequently, this one is a little strange. Their drinks are a good price but the quality was not great. Not mixed through, have to constantly stir the powder in your shell. They have some that taste better, but it's because they are using sugary junk juices to mix the powder with. Staff was nice, and the vibe was good. But drinks are subpar. My tongue wasn't even numb after a double shell.

Only one person behind the bar, so service can take a while. Adam was awesome however, and the quality of the drinks was good. I had Chai Kratom. The biggest complaint I have is the loudness of the music. As someone mildly on the spectrum, it was overstimulating and made it very hard to actually hear to have a conversation. Also, if you don't like their music choice, which was extremely eclectic, you have no chance of ignoring it. I think it would be extremely difficult to play any of the board games with the volume of the music. It is billed as a relaxing vibe, I did not actually find it to be relaxing. The couches are extremely comfy, and there is a pool table though.

Great place. Great product! Kavatenders were awesome and very personable. I felt like I've known them for a long time, but really just met!

Good spot that has an island vibe and cool classic movies from the 60’s playing. Not overly decorated tacky like some places are. Great prices too. Funny “gullible” on the ceiling was a nice touch too. Pool table also a nice bonus.
