Kava & Company (San Marco) - Kava Bar Experience

Came to Jacksonville for couple days and I was searching for a good place to do my work. This place quickly became my go-to spot. Their kratom is really good and I could easy get my job done and then relax at their cool, chill patio. Also Abby and Ema were awesome kava-tenders. Will definitely go back whenever I'm in the town.

This place is my go-to hangout spot from the atmosphere (indoor/ outdoor patio), amazing craft botanical teas (an amazing alternative to alcohol), to the all around unique social space it invites. Bonus…. It’s dog friendly! Whatever vibe your trying to catch you can find it here, whether you need to work or study, just need to unwind and relax, or need to get out and let loose, this kava bar has it all! (Did I mention they have 2 pool tables and live music on the weekends!) One thing that makes this place so special is the kavatenders! They set the vibe for the whole place, and they’re all wonderful and different in their own way. Abby is by far the Kava Queen when she’s behind the bar, she brings the most welcoming and happy vibes and there’s no way when she’s working you won’t have a smile on your face! You definitely won’t feel like a stranger when you walk in and you will for sure want to come back!

I walked in off Google and this place did not disappoint! Scarlets service has been unsurmountable, her drink making skills are unmatched, serious finesse with the shaker, she’s a knockout in the drink making game. This place is a great vibe to come sit at to work, chill or play some games.

We came in for the first time around 2 weeks ago and we’ve been back in every other day since. The environment is great the staff is very friendly and attentive they have live music and open mics that are a really nice vibe and the kava is delicious with lots of variety. The bar itself also has a great ambiance with lots of pass time activities such as pool tables, ping pong, board games, etc. Definitely our favorite kava bar so far and excited to become regular! :)

I ordered the Dirty Duuuval and the Kava shot separately. The service was great and they explained Kava and Kratom since it is all new to me. So nice I went for the open mike and stayed for the atmosphere
