Kafe Kava - St. Augustine Kava Bar - Kava Bar Experience

My wife and I were looking for a place to get coffee after seeing a show in JAX. A high bar considering it was 1030pm. Kafe Kava popped up in our search and was surprised. It was perfect. Nice local, quiet, hip, and friendly spot with great cappuccino. They have ice cream, and other things too. Set in an old house converted to a coffee shop, we really felt comfortable. Granted it was a younger crowd and we are older, but we felt very relaxed and it was a perfect topper to the night. Thank you. Will be back and recommend. We just loved sitting in the back room sipping that goodness.

Kafe Kava is a really nice and relaxing place to sit down unwind and enjoy a relaxing beverage or snack staying open until 1:00 am. The staff is very friendly with smiles on their face as soon as you enter. The owner Alec is the very best with his top tier customer service, always offering customers with new things to try. I’ve been going to kava for about a month now and this place is the absolute best hands down 🙌.

Definitely a very ... unique experience. Ordered Kratom Tea - the server got it out of a bucket behind the bar, it was very gritty & hardly mixed. Also ordered a cappuccino - the server told us it would be a few minutes for the milk to warm up, okay no problem. Server then disappeared for several minutes... it honestly seemed like he left the building and bought coffee from another shop and brought it back.

Cozy place to have a nice cup of coffee or cappuccino and relax away from a lot of people. The shop is misleading and seems small from the outside but once you get inside there's plenty of rooms to sit in and a spacious backyard to sit at. Overall this place looks like a hidden gem.

Star Wars Battles over Tea & Smoothies anyone? My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed this great tea house. It is literally a house converted to be an inviting place for soundbath sessions and stormtrooper hunters alike all whilst enjoying truly unique teas and catching up about sights seen on travels to Peru, as you do. A big kudos to the host; they showed a genuine pride of ownership to keep the place tidy and clean and served the best tropical smoothie my daughter ever had. Thank you Kafe Kava for the hidden gem and surprise of a place that you are.
