By far the best kava bar I’ve ever been to. Walt and Shaalan treat every guest so respectfully and are always so nice to be around. The teas and kava is always the freshest out of any other bar in the area. 10/10 definitely stop by and experience it for yourself.

Stopped by for some kava, but I was served Kratom instead. Didn’t notice til I got home. I threw it out at home cause I thought it was my fault when ordering and kratom is bad news, but no, it was supposed to be kava, shalan messed up. When I tried to tell shalan his true colors came out and he got very defensive. There was no point in arguing but I know what kava tastes like, I drink it every day. I also know what kratom tastes, smells, and looks like. He accidentally gave me kratom, 100%. It’s a correctable mistake but shalan got really defensive when I mentioned it, so I just left and won’t be back 🫡 As someone who operates several businesses, I always view the customer as right in situations like this. It’s very easy to remake a drink if a mistake was made. But not for shalan! He doesn’t make mistakes! lol. I expect an at least decent level of service when I go out…, and I can tell you, this place is far from the mark. Also they use kava as a front… all these places are kratom bars, which is fine if you use it. But I don’t touch that stuff. And shalan accused me of adding kratom haha! Maybe get your customer service straight if you’re running a service based business, instead of being fake nice to people who are charged gratuity on every visit!

Weird vibes almost like an under 21 bar. They serve kratom which is highly addictive. I feel bad for all the kids who are unaware of what they are buying. I got a tea and now I know what it really is. I don’t respect this business. Saleem or whatever his name is was cool but charges gratuity on all checks. Made me dislike them and see who they really are… greedy. I guess they prey on kids who don’t know better.

On multiple occasions, I’ve been here and sat and waited for almost 10 minutes to get served while the kavatender just sat there talking. Same when it comes to checking out. The final straw for me was I was sitting watching trivia, one of the groups won the free kava shell question round, and one of the group members had to leave because she had an important event she needed to get to but stayed as long as she could since she was the only one in the group that liked to drink, they awarded the shell to her. She left, and I watched the owner bully the people in that group and forced them to pay for her because she didn’t stay for the full game of trivia. They won that round, it was their prize, whether they gave it to another person in the bar or dumped it down the drain. It’s their shell that they won. How can you give someone a gift and then make them pay for it because they didn’t use it the way you expected them to? This is not the first time I’ve seen the owners nickel and dime their customers this is just poor behavior and does not reflect a good place to hang out and vibe by any means, of principal I will not coming back to support this place. The owners are jerks
