Island Kava - Kava Bar Experience

Wonderful place. My wife and I went on a whim, and we loved it. Our server was attentive, social, and informative. Introduced us to the product and their menu. Welcoming, chill atmosphere. And they're Pride friendly - we were happy to see the flags outside (you know how Suffolk can be) We'll definitely be coming back.

I work near Main Street in patchogue and never knew of this place until today. I thought it was a regular tea place and it is not. The woman at the bar was nice and aware that I was trying this place for the first time with no real understanding of their teas. She did tell me the tea helps to calm and relax but I took it as no different than chamomile. That is not the case. I was also unaware that you can’t drink alcohol 11 hour before or after drinking this stuff. I went out for cocktails after work & got extremely sick. Had I not gotten nauseous I could have keep drink and ended up in the hospital. You got to make people aware that is so dangerous.

Our favorite spot to go for work meetings during the day and go meet the crew at night. Jonathan, Ryan and Eric are amazing and have created a space for creatives to come enjoy non-alcoholic drinks and teas that elevate your mood. Since coming here almost 2 years ago for the soft grand opening I’ve been a regular and can’t imagine not having such a special spot to meet such incredible people!

The world needs more places like this. This tea shop has truly built a community that cares about one another which is so important and rare these days. Jen is super welcoming, as are the rest of the staff and the regulars too!

I absolutely adore Island Kava! The community there is simply incredible, and they make you feel like part of their family. Island Kava is the perfect choice for those seeking a social environment that doesn't revolve around alcohol-centric bars. The vibe is fantastic, offering both great energy and a relaxed atmosphere. The people are incredibly friendly, and the beverages are top notch! It's my go to spot for unwinding, socializing, or even getting some work done on my laptop. Without a doubt, a solid 5-star experience all around. I have so much love for this place and its wonderful employees and patrons!
