Dignitary Tea & Kava House - Kava Bar Experience

One of the coolest chill spots in Tampa Bay! They are always hosting really cool specialty events, it has lots of quirky artwork, games, TVs for sports, a massive back patio area to hang outdoors as well! If you’re into Tea & Kava, this is your spot for sure and it’s independently owned and operated. They make everyone feel welcome. It’s conveniently located too on the corner of Westshore & Gandy in Tampa, just minutes from St. Pete over the bridge.

Ally, one of the best kava tenders at Dignitary is the warmest, sweetest, and most attentive person. Her, the rest of the staff, and the customers that frequently hang out there will make you feel welcomed and accepted. I have been a regular at Dignitary for over a year. Their beverages have always been of the upmost quality and the prices are more the fair. Out of all the kava bars, Dignitary is the only one with an outdoor smoke area for medical card holders. If you’re searching for a unique place to hang out, make friends, and enjoy beverages that are not alcohol in a social setting or even to sit solo then I highly recommend visiting Dignitary Cafe. The atmosphere is absolutely amazing. You’re always surrounded by even more amazing people! There’s always nothing but positive vibes, great energy and the great place to unwind. You can also bring your laptop there to get your work done at the same time as enjoying a nice Kratom tea. I give this place five stars and recommend anybody that comes to the city of Tampa to swing by this place and know what it is to be a DIGNITARY!

Great atmosphere and stellar staff. It was my first time at a Kava house and Zach was very welcoming, gave a tour, and answered my questions. Enjoyed trying Kava for the first time. Cute date spot. Loved the chess sets, card and board games, and selection of books. The art was fun and great conversation pieces. Looking forward to coming back.

Fantastic atmosphere and when you enter the front doors you are received with these amazing words “You are exactly where you need to be”… and that is all you need to know. I enjoy the other customers and would highly recommend whether you are new to Kava/Kratom or know what you want. Everyone is helpful and the music is great. It’s my favorite place
